Events such as this are an excellent opportunity to highlight the many advantages of multiculturalism.
The QPS cup was put together to create an opportunity for different communities to come together and socialize in the name of cultural exchange, camaraderie and sport.
We all have to live together and events such as this help the various ethnic and cultural groups to understand each other and showcase their backgrounds. From this event the QPS would hope to encourage further collaboration with all Ethnic groups.
WINNERS IN THE 2009 QPS WORLD CUP MULTICULTURAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT:
The winner of the Exhibition Ladies game was GREECE who defeated Zimbabwe 4-0. Player of the match was Charlina Athousis.
The winner of the Graham Perrett FAIR PLAY award was Afghanistan.
The Kelme Golden Boot award for the player who has scored the most goals was Esala Masi from Fiji.
